STMCC are pleased to announce the RCMAKER.com.au 2017 Tasmanian EP10 Challenge to be held on the weekend of 10th to 12th of March 2017.

Qualifying
Best 3 out of 5 count. Worst 2 dropped. Qualifying positions are based on points awarded for each drivers overall finishing position in the class (time/distance) in their best 3 of 5 qualifying rounds.
Tie breaks will be determined by the fastest (time/distance) of the best of the counted qualifiers. Dropped qualifiers will not be used for tie breaks.
Finals
Best 3 of 5 count. Worst 2 dropped. Points awarded for finishing positions in each race.
Tie breaks will be determined by the best finishing position of the dropped final.

Technical Regulations
Formula One
1. Chassis: Any commercially available 1:10 scale rear wheel drive F1 or Indy Car chassis with a T-bar, Pivot Ball Link or independent rear suspension. 4WD’s must have drive to the front wheels disabled. Any hop ups specifically available for that chassis are allowed.
2. Tyres: Rubber Tyres ONLY (NO Foam tires) Tyre choice free
A maximum of 1 set of tires to be used for the entire event.
3. Body Shell: Any F1 body shell.
ainting your shell in past or current full scale F1 team colours is encouraged but any paint scheme is allowed. Driver head / helmet must be fitted. Painting of the drivers helmet and overalls is encouraged.
4. Wings: Any wing designed for the chassis or body shell in use is allowed. Touring Car wings may not be used.
5. Width: Maximum width 205mm.
6. Minimum Weight: Minimum weight 1000g (with transponder).
7. Batteries: Any 2S hard case lipo that has ROAR or BRCA approval as stated in AARCMRCC rules or 6 cell Nimh or Nicd battery.
8. ESC Rule for EventsBrushless: Any ESC from the ROAR Approved Non-Timing ESC list or the BRCA Non-Timing ESC List or any AARCMCC EP Stock Spec ESC List (Currently this means the offroad list, should an onroad list be developed by AARCMCC, or an onroad/offroad list then these lists will also be acceptable). These ESC’s do not have dynamic timing ie; boost or turbo timing options. Brushed ESC for silver can: Any.
9. Motor Rule for EventsBrushless: Any 21.5 turn brushless motor from the ROAR Approved Brushless Motors list or the BRCA 21.5 motor list with any rotor on those lists specified for that motor. Any end bell timing is allowed. Brushed: Any 540 size 27 turn Johnson or Mabuchi silver can motor which may not be modified or tampered with in any way.
10. Driving Aids: No electronic driving aids (steering control by gyroscope, Drag Reduction System, wheel speed sensors, etc). Transmitter functions are allowed.
Mini
1. Chassis: Tamiya M03 or M05/M05v2 series front wheel drive chassis only.
2. Tyres: Control tyre set for this event will be Front: Ride 3035 Rear: Team Powers 36. A maximum of 1 set of tyres to be used for the entire event.
3. Body Shell: Bodyshells are open with the following restrictions - No modern (post 1980) 4 door touring sedans and or 12th scale wedge/Can-Am bodies allowed
4. Gearing: 16, 18 or 20 tooth pinions only to be used. Gear diff/spool diff/ball diffs permitted, all other internal gears to be standard.
5. Minimum Weight: Minimum weight 1330g (with transponder).
6. Batteries: Any 2S hard case lipo that has ROAR or BRCA approval as stated in AARCMRCC rules or 6 cell Nimh or Nicd battery.
8. ESC: Hobbywing OEM/rebranded EZrun 25 or 35 amp only.
9. Motor: Hobbywing OEM/rebranded EZrun 13T/3000KV only.
Open TC
1. Chassis: Four-wheel drive only is allowed. Chassis must have independent suspension on all four wheels. Each driven wheel must have a flexible joint, eg: dog bone/s or universal joint/s in its driveshaft. Drive train and suspension design is free from restriction. Flat Pan (1/12th and 1/10th Track Style) chassis are not allowed. The Chassis must not be shaped to gain an aerodynamic advantage. In principle the underside of the chassis must be flat and parallel to the ground along the entire length of the body-shell. Aerodynamic shaped parts (splitters/diffusers/tunnels/etc) may not be fitted to the chassis.
2.Motor: Only Brushless motors approved by IFMAR, ROAR, EFRA or BRCA may be used.
3.ESC: Speed Controllers as per ROAR BRCA list.
4.Body Shell: 4 door sedan style bodies are allowed that are currently on the IFMAR, EFRA or ROAR body listings, and fit within the GLOBAL BODY SPECIFICATIONS for electric touring cars. Top of wing must be no higher than roof line. Cooling holes - No cooling holes in body shell allowed.
5.Tyres: Control tyre set for this event will be: Volante V5T 32 Gold compound ( pre glued) (PN: V5T-PG32R)
upto 3 sets.
6.Hop-Ups: Any hop up available from any manufacturer.
7.Batteries: Any 2 cell Hard-cased approved 7.4 Lipo packs as listed on the ROAR or EFRA websites.
8.Gearing: Gearing is not restricted.

When the "0 Boost" profile is enabled, it shall be indicated by a blinking LED while the ESC is armed and in neutral position.

Flat Pan (1/12th and 1/10th Track Style) chassis are not allowed. The Chassis must not be shaped to gain an aerodynamic advantage. In principle the underside of the chassis must be flat and parallel to the ground along the entire length of the body-shell. Aerodynamic shaped parts (splitters/diffusers/tunnels/etc) may not be fitted to the chassis.
2.Motor: Turnigy TrackStar 21.5T 1855KV sensored brushless motor. P/N:9192000034 ONLY. Motor end bell timing must be set to Zero “0”. No motor modifications are allowed. Note: Motors are available from: Hobbyking Australian Warehouse. Hobby King
3.ESC: Any ESC that does not have Dynamic timing ie; boost or turbo timing options, or any ESC that has a “Blinky” mode ie; a flashing light denotes that no dynamic timing is enabled, is allowed.
4.Body Shell: 4 door sedan style bodies that are currently on the IFMAR, EFRA or ROAR body listings, and fit within the GLOBAL BODY SPECIFICATIONS for electric touring cars.
5.Tyres: Control tyre set for this event will be: Volante V5T 32 Gold compound ( pre glued) (PN: V5T-PG32R)

Tyres are Volante 32 Gold pre-mounted and pre-glued for this event.
Upto 3 sets.
There are to be no modifications made to the tyre assembly (i.e: air holes in the rims must not be made bigger).
Re-gluing and tyre balancing is allowed.
Tyres will be marked by race organisers.
It is the drivers' responsibility to ensure that all identifying marks on the tyre assembly are not damaged.
You may only use tyres you have purchased when entering.
You may not use another entrant’s tyre(s).
Junior Sportsman TC
As per other TC classes.
